Julio César Hernández era integrante del equipo de fotógrafos de la Presidencia de la República, con el ex presidente Enrique Peña Nieto, actualmente, conduce una carroza fúnebre, en su mayoría, de quienes fallecen de COVID-19 en municipios del Estado de México.

El ex fotógrafo del presidente Enrique Peña Nieto, en entrevista para Milenio, informó que tomó su última imagen en la Cámara de Diputados en 2018, cuando el priista entregó el poder a Andrés Manuel López Obrador y posteriormente, se quedó sin empleo.

En junio de 2019 una familiar le pidió que se asociaran para poner una funeraria en Mexicalcingo, que inauguraron sin avizorar siquiera la pandemia de que vendría casi siete meses después.

Debido a que el Estado de México es una de las entidades con el mayor número de infectados con coronavirus, Julio César transporta a un gran número de fallecidos en su carroza que adquirió en Jalisco, protegido con equipo especial además de cubrebocas y asegura que este trabajo, “es temporal”.
